Bust A Move (BAM) Video Delay is a great app to allow kids to see what they are doing in real time. The app records and then plays back at an interval you decide, IE - 5 seconds. That way the students can perform a skill then see how they did almost immediately. This is great for your students who are trying advanced skills as well as those who are just learning skills. There is no replacement for video feedback in PE. This app is on the expensive side $7.99 but worth it.

Team Shake is a fantastic app for easily grouping students. You can set a number of parameters, including ability grouping, keeping kids together and keeping kids apart. I have found that this is very useful because the "phone" always picks the teams and the kids never question my picking skills. This app is worth the $.99 price.

Sworkit was suggested by Kat Hamann at Cedar Park in the Beaverton School District. Her students use the app to help them design their own warm-ups and fitness workouts.
This looks like a great app for quickly putting a workout together. Sworkit has strength training, stretching, cardio and yoga activities.

Seconds Pro is a timer app that I use all the time. It allows me to set up a variety of timers for a variety of situations. I can add any music from my iPhone to a timer. At $4.99 it is a bit on the expensive side but I have definitely gotten my money's worth from this app. I have used it in the gym and in presentations to large groups. I would recommend this app to anyone.
